Recommended Reading

So what has everyone been reading lately? A friend of a friend here in Atlanta just had a book of short stories published. I shared a little of it with Rachel, Ann, & Annelise at the airport, but y'all should get it if you are looking for something fun to read. It starts off my list:

The Mysterious Secret of the Valuable Treasure by Jack Pendarvis
Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke

and I think that's all I have that's new. It's sad how much less I read since I stopped travelling.

The Nutties

Okay, little by little I'm figuring this out. I've enabled comments now so that one person can post a comment such as "Elephants are fuzzy and I want one for Christmas" and other people can comment on that post (instead of creating a new one).

As for pictures, I downloaded some tool called Happy, but I don't think it's necessary. For example, in this particular post, I simply went to the posting section, created a new Posting and clicked on the little landscapy picture in the toolbar with the bold and italic and other stuff. Then I got a pop up window so that I could upload a picture from my computer. Slick.

Anyway, doesn't Rachel look fabulous in her sleeping cap?

I've never blogged either... which is one of the main reasons I decided to go this route. A lot of the blog providers were using all these terms that I don't know and required writing posts in HTML. No way!!!!
